Yoplait Kids yogurt giveaway is finally here!

I recently received a great prize pack from Jessica at Yoplait Kids which included free yogurt coupons, a fun travel game for my son, and a cooler. My son loves yogurt so the coupons were put to use right away & I was excited to receive a new cooler. With this beautiful fall weather, we go to the park and have lunch at least once a week, so I was in need for a new cooler.

Now Yoplait Kids Yogurt wants to give one of you, the same prize pack! Simply enter a comment here, along with your email address, by Sunday, October 5th - 10 pm (ET) to win. Your fun prize will include a coupon for Yoplait Kids yogurt, a brain building travel game, and a cooler.

In the meantime, you can head over to Yoplait Kids for a $1.50 coupon offer online that is available to download. Yoplait Kids offers drink-able and spoon-able yogurt that now contains the nutrient Omega-3 DHA, an important nutrient to help support healthy brain development. Yoplait Kids yogurt, features kid-friendly characters like Dora, Diego and the Backyardigans and comes in multiple kid-pick flavors too.

Goodluck!

Just some great quotes from Nick....

"I don't want to go to school....the teacher is going to make me be quiet."

"When Santa Claus comes he's going to bring baby Anna some teeth."

We're lying side-by-side in bed singing songs and snuggling one another when Nick blurts out, "Mom...I am sorry but I really need to go to bed now. My stomach is telling me I need to go to sleep."

"You dirty chicken!!!" (Since we're trying to stay clear of "potty talk" this is his new phrase to blurt out!?)

Funny Hospital Story

In the hospital, the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill.

Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. 'I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news,' he said as he surveyed the worried faces. 'The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky but it is the only hope.

Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain yourselves...' The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a great length of time, someone asked, 'Well, how much does a brain cost?'

The doctor quickly responded, '$5,000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain.' The moment turned awkward. Men in the room tried not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked.

A man unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, 'Why is the male brain so much more?'

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, 'It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've actually been used.'

For mothers everywhere....

A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a
woman,' she told him.

'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, 'And you
never will.'

Later the little boy asked his father, 'Why does mother seem to cry for no
reason?'

'All women cry for no reason,' was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked,
'God, why do women cry so easily?'

God said:
'When I made the woman she had to be special.'

'I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort.'

'I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that
many times comes from her children.'

'I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else
gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without
complaining.'

'I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all
circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.'

'I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and
fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.'

'I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but
sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalte!
ringly. '

'And finally, I gave her a tear to shed.' 'This is hers exclusively to use
whenever it is needed.'
'That tear holds more then men could understand.'
' If a man was to shed her tear it
would look enormous.'
'For a woman's tear is full of unconditional love,
power,sacrifice,beauty,pain,and com! passion .'
'All ten fold of what a Man is able to feel.'
'And that is my son, why I made her as close to being Supernatural.'
'She's my gift to the world she's an Angel on Earth. '
'Love her and praise her for there will be no other here on Earth that
will Love you like I do, then your Mother.'

'Y ou see my son,' said God, 'The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes
she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.'

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the
doorway to her heart - the place where love resides.'

Potty Training...

Well we started our potty training last Monday and I am proud to report that my little man has just "taken off" with it!
He goes #1 & 2 in the potty - no issues there thank God. He just turned 3 in July so I decided to wait til after the baby was born & when we were done with vacations. I just started him in underwear only (well diapers when he sleeps)...set my timer for 30 minutes...gave/give him a jelly bean or M&M for #1 successes and chocolate milk for #2 successes...Viola! :-) Now we don't always even do the reinforcements...he hasn't asked so I don't give, lol. When he wakes up in the morning, he even takes off his diaper to go to the bathroom before coming downstairs...isn't that wonderful!?
I am a firm believer now that with boys, you are better just holding off til they show they're interested vs. forcing them. Who cares how old they are....as long as their ready, right, lol? Oh and reminding him that he needs to be potty-trained in order to start preschool Oct. 1st, worked in my favor too ;-)

Advice from Snopes.com

Did you know....

1) Any time you see an E-Mail that says forward this on to '10' of your friends, sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck, good luck, or whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to. The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is able to get lists of 'active' E-Mails to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to other spammers.

2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most cards. All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is, is a way to get names and 'cookie' tracking information for telemarketers and spammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.

You can do your friends and family members a GREAT favor by sharing this information to them; you will be providing a service to your friends, and will be rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!

If you have been sending out(FORWARDING) the above kinds of E-Mail, now you know why you get so much SPAM!

Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings regardless how inviting they might sound!

You may think you are supporting a GREAT cause, but you are NOT in the long run. Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later! Plus, we are helping the spammers get rich! Let's don't make it easy for them.

Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to Congress or any other organization. To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed signature and full address of the person signing the petition.
